Dive in the Cenotes of Mexico

Cristal clear water, incredible visibility, stunning cave formations: This is the magical world of Mexican caves.

Called ‘Cenote’ because of the Mayan word ‘D’zenote’ which means; water well, water that flows under the earth for hundreds of kilometers in the Yucatan Peninsula.

You can dive the cenotes all year round; It is the perfect environment for a diver to enjoy and explore the cenotes by cavern or cave diving or to get educated as a cave diver.

The Yucatan Peninsula has the biggest system of underground rivers. You will discover the amazing cave formations, the halloclines, white, yellow or dark caves according to your taste and all that by following the lines with an expert guide. You will be able to admire the cristal clear water with different speleothems such as stalagmites, stalactites, columns, drapery and much more.

The dives can be performed in the following configurations :

  • backmount

  • sidemount

  • stage and multistage

  • scooter

  • rebreather (CCR)

I will prepare a personalized cave diving program for you.

If you are certified at least intro to cave diver, I can guide you beyond the daylight of the cavern zone and we can go and explore the numerous kilometers of lines laid in various cenotes.

The program is personalized to the divers and limited to small groups (max 2-3 divers of the same level). I can guide you according to your level as an intro to cave diver, cave diver, stage cave diver, rebreather cave diver, scooter (dpv) diver open circuit or CCR.

Depending on your level and on the dive that you want to do we will do two dives in the day or one long dive.

I can guide you in the caves in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish
